A Vulv-What?

Image
The other day we were playing a game with our friends.  πŸ‘Ύ  It was one of those couple quiz games, and it mentioned a vagina when it was actually the vulva!  πŸ‘  Of course, I had to say something, and said, “Its not really the vagina, it’s actually called the vulva.”  ✨  Our friends suddenly had a puzzled look on their face, and slowly repeated a “vulv-?”  πŸ€” My girl friend then apprehensively said, “Isn’t that in your throat?”  πŸ‘„  I explained to her that the vulva was the external genitalia, and that the vagina was actually like a hallway to our cervix.  πŸ•³  To which her boyfriend chimed in, “What’s the difference? Does it actually matter?”  πŸ₯±  I explained the importance of knowing the correct terms, and everyone just continued playing the game.  πŸ₯΄  It’s been a couple of days since this incident, and I have tried to let it go.  πŸ‘‹πŸ»  I don’t believe he meant to be insensitive, but I would be ...

Your Vulva is NOT Your Vagina!

Image
✨🚨YOUR VULVA IS NOT YOUR VAGINA!🚨✨ (|)πŸ’• Your vulva is the woman’s external genitals you can see. This consists of the clitoris, labia minora, labia majora, mons pubis, prepuce, perineum, urethral opening, and the OPENING of the vagina. The vagina is actually the hole that a babyπŸ‘Ά would come out of, or a penis would enter into. The vagina πŸ•³ is actually internal like a hallway from the outside that leads into the uterus and cervix. I was neverπŸ™…πŸ»‍♀️ taught the proper terms of my body in school. πŸ‘©‍🏫 My family and friends always called their external genitals their vagina as well‼️ I did not know what a vulva was until I was told I had VIN/Precancer! I remember asking my doctor, vulva what!?!? I felt lied to, and confused. πŸ™‡πŸ»‍♀️ You mean I’ve been calling this my vagina all along and it’s not even the right term!? When I tell others about my disease, they do not even know what a vulva is, and often ask if I mean the uvula in the throat!πŸ‘„πŸ˜€ It is important that we use the p...
