A Picture Can Save Your Life

So, it’s January 1st & it’s time to perform your vulvar self exam!! πŸ” But, you do not have a handheld mirror! πŸ™‡πŸ»‍♀️ Were you just going to skip it until you remember to buy one at the store? 🀷🏻‍♀️ Well, if you are reading this on a phoneπŸ“± then have no fear, a solution is here!!! ✨ You can use your phone to take a picture! πŸ“Έ The first time I ever noticed anything was wrong down thereπŸ‘‡ was through a picture. I saw a big white patch, and couldn’t believe it! 🀯 I ended up having Lichen Sclerosus & VIN(precancer).🚨 I am so thankful I took that picture!! You can even store the pictures into a hidden album or photo vault to keep them hidden away. 😎One benefit of taking pictures that I personally like is the fact that I can keep those pictures for years to come. So, in my album, I keep track of how my vulva is actually changing throughout the years. 🧐 If I believe a new white patch has popped up, I can just go to my album & look at a picture from the previous month & double check. ✅ Also, I can show my doctor the areas I’m worried about when I see him at my next appointment so he can really see & understand what I’m talking about. πŸ‘¨‍⚕️Lastly, I find pictures so beneficial because if you were to change doctors, you have documented your vulva throughout the years and can show them what you have been going through! ✨So, don’t worry vulvastrong queens, and track your vulvar health & progress now! πŸ‘‘ We hope you have a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year! Start off on the right foot todayπŸ’ƒπŸ» by being ahead of the game, and performing your monthly vulvar self exam ASAP!! πŸ’ͺ🏻(|)πŸ’•
